The process begins by transferring my personal template to leather and carefully cutting each piece by hand. Using the incomparably beautiful and strong traditional saddle stitching method, the pieces are hand sewn in place. Edges are then hand burnished and polished to a natural sheen or layered with edge paint and heat treated for a smooth finish according to your preference. Finally the cardholder receives a coat of conditioner and is hand buffed before finding its way to you.
